Sub-Division

துணைப்பிரிவு

A split part of a survey number, numbered like 12/1, 12/2 — each with its own FMB sheet.

When a survey number is divided — for a sale, gift, or family settlement — each part becomes a sub-division numbered as the parent followed by a fraction, such as 12/1, 12/2, 12/3.

Every sub-division gets its own FMB sheet and its own entry in the village accounts, while the parent number continues on its separate sheet.

A subdivision FMB map joins the parent sheet and all its subdivision sheets back into one continuous sketch, which is the view planners, banks, and heirs need.
